Aggregate data for the General Practice workforce

Aggregate data for the Primary Care Network workforce

Thic collection enables staff to be uniquely identified and their whole contribution to NHS staffing to be determined. 
It provides the information used to monitor government targets and the Primary Care Network (PCN) workforce collection contributes to the monitoring of the commitment to increase the number of health care professionals offering direct patient care by 26,000.
Data is collected from PCNs each quarter and from General Practices on a monthly basis.

This standard is published under section 250 of the Health and Social Care Act 2012

Requires the submission of primary care workforce data from General Practices and Primary Care Networks.
